QTP 11 installation on Windows 7

Proceed to to HP trial downloads and retrieve "HP Functional Testing 11.00 Evaluation" :

The link to download HP Functional Test (QTP) version 11.0 requires registration (for first-time users) and login. Starting version 9.5, all add-ins (such as Test analyse viewer) are bundled with the core QTP installation and need not be downloaded separately. Installation is pritty strightforward, when using the 3.6Gb ISO file and Daemon tools/Virtual clone to mount it as a DVD image.

Accept conditions, enter Name/Company information and select the ADD-In you want to install. Provide the folder where you want to install QTP and initiate installtaion with with your confirmation.

The HP software comes pre-installed with a 30 day evaluation license. This trial license will take effect if you avoid to choose the "Run License Installation Wizard" and proceed with the software as-installed.

An EXTENSION (usually 30 days) of your evaluation license is available, once your trial period is over. More contact information of HP's license delivery center may be found at the HP licensing site.

At this point please uncheck the "Run License Installation Wizard", which is otherwise checked by default.

When starting up QTP, you will see a license warning, but just disregard this message as it will not affect the functionality of the QTP software during the trial period.
